For this week’s guest post on Artists and Scientists, I’m pleased to introduce my friend and colleague Ms. Christelle Maria Lewis. Christelle is a cognitive scientist, a visual artist, a guitarist, and a cook. To all she does, Christelle brings courage, love, and energy that she could bottle and sell as Cocaine+. Christelle is a full-time researcher who still makes time for friends and family. In addition, she finds time to produce striking paintings of stunning range. She’s continually experimenting with style and medium. Her motifs are clever, but the cleverness never violates aesthetic integrity.
In this guest post, Christelle engages with the forces that pull us this way and that, as we narrow home in from the universe of possibilities to select a “suitable” career.
